“PERIAPICAL/RADICULAR CYST”

This is the most frequently encountered mandibular cyst. It occurs due to caries or infection and is painful.
PLAIN FILM

•  Found at root of the affected tooth
•  Unilocular, less than 1 cm and with a sclerotic margin
•  May form an abscess
